Instructions

The goal is to sink all the enemy ships before they sink yours (Mines don't count as ships). Certain ships give special abilities you can use in a turn, if those ships are sunk you lose the ability. Special abilities have a cooldown for a certain number of turns.

Players first place down their fleet, then take turns firing at each other.

A list of ships + their abilities are as follows:

1. Carrier: Contains three torpedo bombers that bomb in a "plus" shape. If the center of the plus-sign is in enemy AA range, then the attack fails.
   AA: 5Torps: 5 (Cooldown: 4)
2. Battlecruiser: A large ship.
3. Cruiser: Can fire cruise missiles that explode in a "X" shape. If the center of the X is in enemy CWIS range, then the attack fails.
   AA: 2Missiles: 1 (Cooldown: 4)
4. Strategic Missile Submarine: Fires a tactical nuclear torpedo that explodes in a 7x7 square. Cannot be intercepted.
   Nukes: 1 (Cooldown: 12)
5. AEGIS Cruiser: Protects ships in a 9x9 square centered on it from enemy cruise missiles.
   CWIS: 4
6. Counterintelligence Ship: All sonar pings in a 7x7 square centered on it will return a false "probable miss".
   Stealth: 3
7. Destroyer: A small ship.
8. Submarine: Can perform "sonar pings" that show if a 3x3 region is either a "probable hit" (meaning there is at least 1 ship square in the 3x3 region) or a "probable miss" (there are no ships) Note if ANY of the squares in the 3x3 regions are in a stealth field this will return a false "probable miss".
   Sonar: 1 (Cooldown: 4)
9. Mine: When hit will explode in a 3x3 square on the board of the person who fired the salvo.

Northlandia: A technologically advanced nation to the north, known for its verdant mountain ranges and vast lakes.

Southania: A rival technological superpower, known for its many islands of golden beaches and tropical shores.

The battleship has been retired in the modern age, but as missile interception systems and anti-submarine technology advanced, the need for heavy support platforms returned. The solution was a revival of the battlecruiser: a smaller, semi-autonomous “fast-battleship” that could fire multiple precision guided railgun shells.
